.In 1956 I was cast as Linda in the Danny Thomas television series, 'Make Room For Daddy'.

When 'The Danny Thomas Show' came to an end after 7 successful seasons, I went on an interview for the role of Brigitta Von Trapp in a little movie that 20th Century Fox was making titled 'The Sound of Music'.

SCRAPBOOK 4 - HEARING THE SOUND OF MUSIC...

Being cast as Penny Robinson was a character I loved portraying. Not only was I fascinated with the Space Program, but this was totally different from the kind of roles I'd played before. She was fearless. I loved her sense of adventure.

The Sound of Music has taken us on many journeys to different parts of the planet. This movie is loved the world over and we are so happy to be a part of it.
