In my second movie gig I was cast in 'Something of Value', a movie starring Rock Hudson and Sidney Poitier.
In my second movie gig I was cast in 'Something of Value', a movie starring Rock Hudson and Sidney Poitier.
I was three when I was cast in my first movie role in Somebody Up There Likes Me. I played Audrey, Paul Newman and Pier Angeli's daughter. The role of Rocky Graziano was meant to go to James Dean, which is why Pier Angeli (Dean's girlfriend) was playing his wife. Dean then was killed in a car crash so they used the unknown Paul Newman instead. It was Paul Newman's first movie role and the beginning of a long and illustrious career. You can catch it sometimes on the late night movie and on DVD.
