At one point I went to a famous hairdresser to upgrade my look and he took my long hair and chopped it off. Although I sat in shock I have to admit it was liberating. I went to Italy and modeled for awhile.

I appeared in two episodes of 'Room 222.'
Danny Thomas returned to television with Make Room For Grandaddy and it was great being back with the original cast once again. In the one season the show was on the air we had a multitude of fabulous guest stars including Frank Sinatra, Perry Como, Diana Ross and tons of others.
'Make Room for Grandaddy' only lasted a year. We were plagued with a writers strike. But I enjoyed filming these episodes with the cast as an young adult.

In 1978, I worked with Irwin Allen once again, when he cast me as Teresa in Beyond the Poseidon Adventure. The movie starred Michael Caine, Sally Field, Peter Boyle, Karl Malden, Jack Warden, Shirley Jones, Slim Pickens, Veronica Hamel, Telly Savalas and Mark Harmon as my love interest. The shoot was very physically demanding in classic Irwin Allen style.
It was Mark Harmon first acting role. He was a great guy.
Peter Boyle played my father.
There were many scenes where we were under water in the ocean off Catalina or in a large tank.
Months before I started shooting I was caught in a rip tide off the California coast and I nearly drowned. It was terrifing to put myself under water once again but it was Mark Harmon, who was a natural athelete that helped me with those difficult scenes like buddy breathing with Slim Pickens.
Three people on one airhose was scary as hell for me. But Slim Pickens only had one lung, so he was probably terrified also.

In 1977 I opened an eclectic store 'Rubber Boots' .In those days you used to go to individual stores for this and that. I combined a store filled with a wide selection of unusual things.
My gift store 'Rubber Boots' served the studios and residents in the area for for 23 years.
